On Monday, October 31st, is Halloween. We wanted to take a moment to clarify the guidelines for the day.
1. Students will be allowed to dress-up the last hour of the day. Please monitor your student’s costume for school appropriateness. Costumes cannot include any type of weapon, blood, and should not be excessively scary. Students will not be allowed to wear costume face masks, or have their face painted. Hair color is allowed. Prosser School District dress code still applies throughout the day.
2. Any food being sent to school needs to be store bought and prepackaged. We will not be allowing homemade food to be distributed. Please be aware we have students who have food allergies.
3. Parents helping with parties will need to fil out a PSD volunteer form and have been cleared through the Prosser School District Office. For those volunteers who have been cleared, please arrive at 1:30pm and check in at the office before going to the classroom.
4. Students not participating in the party may be picked up at 1:30pm or can go to the library for a supervised activity until dismissal at 2:35pm.
5. Students are not allowed to bring food on the school bus due to it being a choking hazard.
