November Newsletter
Halloween:
Students will be allowed to wear costumes on Thursday, October 31st. Classrooms will hold Halloween parties the last hour of the day. Students are not allowed to wear costumes that have weapons, masks that cover the whole face and/or depict blood or violence.
Parent Drop Off Reminder:
School starts at 8:05 am. The drop off window for students is between 7:50-8:05 am each morning.
Conferences:
I want to thank all parents and guardians for participating in these conferences. We had 98% of our parents attend. Thank you!
Veterans’ Day Assembly and Evening Performance:
We would like to invite all Veterans to our assembly on Tuesday, November 5th from 12:30-1:30 pm. The evening performance will be on Tuesday, November 5th from 6:30-7:30 pm. If you have a family member or a friend that has served, please invite them to join us at one of the performances. Veterans consist of any member that has served in any branch of the military at any time.
Cold Weather:
Cold weather has returned to our region and many of our children are not wearing the proper clothing for inclement weather. Please make sure your children are dressed appropriately for these cold days. Hats, boots, snow pants, warm jackets and gloves or mittens are essential for the students to be able to enjoy their time at recess. Please remember that students will be outside for roughly an hour each day. We care about your children and want them to be happy and comfortable on these brisk cold days.
