Dear families,
Every year we host a family fun run called the Turkey Trot. It is a one mile run that kids can do with family members. We have it on the short Wednesday before we leave for Thanksgiving break. After the fun run we hold a raffle and give away a live turkey and other food related items.

Attention Kinder Parents!
Kindergarten letters will be mailed this week from KRV and Whitstran. You will likely receive an electronic copy of the letter first. Kinder students and parents will have a scheduled teacher conference one of the first three days of school (August 30, 31 or September 1). The first day of school for kindergarten is September 2nd. Back to School Night is August 29th at 5:00 pm at KRV and 6:00 pm at Whitstran. We are excited to welcome you to school!
We will have staff available to help with student yearly registration on Wednesday, August 17th from 10 am to 5 pm and Thursday, August 18th from 2 pm to 6 pm.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:
The School Board awarded the construction bid to Chervenell Construction Company on Wednesday, June 1st. We are packing our boxes and need to be out of the building by June 14th. Construction will start shortly after we move out. Whitstran Elementary will be located at the Old Prosser High School for the 2022-2023 school year and will return to the Whitstran building during the 2023-2024 school year.

Please schedule a conference appointment with your student's teacher on Skyward. The window to schedule conferences opens in Skyward Monday, March 28th and closes Tuesday, April 12th.
