We're excited to introduce Mrs. Erika Alvarez as the new counselor at Prosser High School! Erika's roots in our community run deep, as she's a Prosser High School graduate class of '97. Currently pursuing her Masters in School Counseling at Grand Canyon University, Erika is committed to helping students tap into their potential and create a supportive learning environment.
Drawing inspiration from Martin Luther King Jr.'s words, "If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward," Erika is eager to stand by students' sides as they work towards their goals.
Her role as a counselor isn't just about individual guidance – Erika also aims to build strong connections within the school community, partnering with families, teachers, and staff to create a positive atmosphere where every student can thrive.
